Road Through the Aspens Vertical
San Juan Mountains near Ridgeway
This photo was taken at the peak of fall colors in the San Juan Mountains near Ridgeway Colorado. The sun had already gone down, so I had to shoot quickly before it got too dark. As I was getting ready to take the photo, a truck was coming down in the other direction with its light on. The driver was kind enough to pull over and turn his lights off so that I didn’t have to move my tripod. Photo © copyright by Mike Barton.
